Writing Again

Something that I've learned about writing.  When your revising you have to ask yourself a question.  What does each chapter in a story or scene in a screenplay actually accomplish?  What are the characters trying to accomplish?  What is the emotional tone of the section supposed to be?  And did you achieve both of them in the fastest way possible.

Another tip:  If there is non-dialog I should be asking myself, what is the purpose of this non-dialog?  Then, how can I say it in the least words possible?  Or have I said it all ready in the dialog?

Writing

Life is about the ride.  And if you're not having fun on the ride get off it and get on another one.

I don't enjoy computer programming.

I enjoy architecture.

I want to build an media empire.

I want my crew to be a part of my life.

I want to put out amazing things for people to enjoy.

Goals:

To put out my children's book.  "The Bubblegum Beauties".

To sell 1,000 copies of BGB.

To have 52 Week High Flyers built.

To finish the Lies and Money script.

Rewrite Lies and Money. (?)

Write Baseball 2.0

To put out a second's children's book, "The Bubblegum Beauties"

Sell 1,000 copies of The Bubblegum Beauties pt. 2

To IntoTheIndex.com built.

Where I'm At

This blog is really helpful.  It's necessary for me.  It provides for transitions.  Now ... I'm at the next stage with GFM.

I have to transition the actual site over to an Apache Server.  Whoa.  Then I have to properly configure the server and make sure the site actually works.

Finally I have to read this book on iPhone Core Data programming and program my iPhone App.  It's crazy.   But I'm moving onto the next level in programming.  Developing and integrating disparate systems.  It's a brave new world out there right now.  I'm cautiously hopeful.
